In PKD 2007 surveyors have no code of their own, so we base the selection on the name and the source category. The PKD 2025 subclass 71.12.A appears only for companies that have updated their entry.

PKD division 71 brings together the professions that decide about a building before the first excavator arrives. The architect designs form and function. Structural, building services and road engineers prepare the specialist designs. The surveyor sets out and records. Laboratories test soil, concrete and installations.
It is a small group compared with contractors, but with disproportionate influence: a material or system written into the design later ends up in the contractor’s orders. That is why manufacturers value contact with designers so highly.
Interior architects and product designers do not belong to division 71 – PKD places them in specialised design activities (division 74).
The REGON register lists 99,726 entities in this industry across Poland (GUS, as of 30 June 2026); the breakdown by voivodeship is in the table below. That is the size of the market, not the number of our records. Our own database (196,499 companies, as of 17 September 2026) is one of our sources and covers voivodeships unevenly, so the number of records for your selection is available on request – database status.
Classification
Section M carries the letter N in PKD 2025; division 71 stayed. The most important practical change: surveyors, so far indistinguishable from engineers under code 71.12.Z, have their own subclass 71.12.A. Likewise, interior designers gained class 74.13 in place of the general code 74.10.Z.
Left code: PKD 2007, right: PKD 2025. Source: GUS, Polish Classification of Activities PKD 2025. The codes describe the scope of the industry – they are not a promise of a filter: today’s records mostly carry the source category, and a PKD code only where one is available. Whether you can select by a specific code is confirmed before you order. More: PKD 2025 and company lists.
A single PKD 2007 code covers structural engineers, building services designers, road engineers, surveyors, site inspectors, self-employed site managers and even technical consultants from outside construction. If you need surveyors only, or building services designers only, you have to use the company name and business description – or data from the professional chambers.
Most records are one-person studios. A licensed architect works under their own name, often at a home address. That is personal data, with all that this entails.
Technical testing (71.20), on the other hand, is a different world altogether: laboratories, motor assessors, vehicle inspection stations. If your target is designers, it is better to remove group 71.2 from the selection.
We manufacture façade systems. We are looking for architecture studios (PKD 71.11.Z) in Warsaw and the neighbouring counties. We want to post our technical catalogue and invite them to a presentation. We do not need technical testing or surveyors. Please send the number of records and the price.
This is a model enquiry, not a completed order. If you give us PKD codes, we will tell you how far they can be applied to our data – today the records mostly carry the source category.
Windows, façades, insulation, building services – the manufacturer works to get its solution specified in the design.
CAD and BIM software, plotters, workstations and surveying instruments.
An overview of studios in the region before requesting a concept or detailed design.
Invitations to industry events and training on technical and building regulations.

Questions
In PKD 2007 surveyors have no code of their own, so we base the selection on the name and the source category. The PKD 2025 subclass 71.12.A appears only for companies that have updated their entry.
No. PKD classifies interior design under division 74 (specialised design). On request we will check whether we can prepare a separate selection.
Because PKD classifies periodic roadworthiness testing as technical testing and analysis (71.20.B in PKD 2007, 71.20.C in PKD 2025). Thematically they fit Automotive and car services, and that is where to ask about them.
Commercial information may be sent by email or phone only with the recipient’s prior consent (Article 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law; the provision does not distinguish between consumers and businesses) – the export does not include such consent. The data is meant for postal mail, preparing visits, CRM enrichment and market analysis. Details: B2B telemarketing and email in Poland after the change.
We will reply with the scope, price and data status.
